Saturday: Norwegian Christmas?!!

yesterday lee, anna, lizzie and i went to the ohio norsemen christmas dinner/celebration in rocky river. ohio norsemen is a group of people from all over ohio that have norwegian back rounds and like to celebrate their history! we met a lot of people that can speak norwegian and i suddenly felt like home<3 it was so confusing because i´m not used to speaking english and norwegian in the same night so much. i was not very hungry, so i mostly ate dessert, which was pretty good. i had really good bread with raisins, kromkaker, and ´norwegian´ wine, which was actually from italy, haha. we sang norwegian christmas songs both in norwegian and english which was really fun. we met another norwegian girl who goes to school in lakewood, ingvieg. All the norwegians together! anna was so lost when people spoke norwegian but i am proud of her because she understood a little bit! like jeg elsker deg and hufta!!!!! hahaha she wants to be norwegian and come to norway.she is facebook friends with anders now. they sold so much norwegian stuff! everything, chocolate, ornaments, t-shirts, and flags. anna elisabeth and i bought so much chocolate and matching t-shirts! JEG ELSKER DET! it was a little too much norwegian for me, i´m in america, i want to do american stuff not home stuff! the people were so amazed by me and elisabeth, like OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS ARE REAL NORWEGIANS?? it was so funny, are we aliens or something? they spelled `min navn er` instead of mitt navn er. haha, elisabeth wrote on her name tag actual norwegian` we are so authentic:) on the way home we listened to my favorite radio station and heard some of my favorite american songs!! it was awesome. like party in the usa by miley cyrus. that song like describes my life coming to america it is so good!!! and ipod replay and everything. we sung and danced the whole time. when we got home, our friends from brush high school, sam and tywan came over to hang out. elisabeth went to bed so early and me and anna stayed up until two o clock talking about everything. BFF. we all three love eachother so much and have so much fun:) i am so happy here and love christmas time!!!! i miss you mamma, daddy, anders, magnus and erling, and baby elisabeth:) love you talk to you all soon.
